Comment:
The Dragon runtime is the floor a compiled program links: static archives
whose code becomes part of every binary the Mica compiler - or any compiler
built on the Dragon SDK - produces. Its terms are therefore written for the
three acts this package is ever part of: building software with it, shipping
the software that was built, and passing the archives along inside a
toolchain of your own so that your users can build software too.
 .
 In plain words:
 .
Using these archives to build and link software is free for any purpose,
commercial work included, exactly like the Mica compiler itself.
 .
A binary linked against them is entirely yours. No term of this licence
attaches to it, whoever you are and however you license or sell it.
 .
If you build a compiler or code generator on the Dragon SDK, you may ship
these archives, unmodified, as part of your product, so your users can
link the programs your product emits.

 In plain words:
 .
You may use these runtime archives to build and link software for anything,
free of charge, including commercial work. Binaries linked against them are
   entirely yours.
 .
You may pass the unmodified archives along as part of a toolchain or
development product of your own, so its users can link the programs it
   produces.
 .
The archives are not open source. You may not modify them or reverse
engineer them, and you may not sell or license the archives themselves as
   a product of their own.
 .
 .
 1. DEFINITIONS
 .
1.1 "Runtime" means the Dragon runtime archives in this package, in the form
we distribute them, together with any documentation supplied with them.
 .
1.2 "You" means the individual or organisation exercising rights under this
     Licence.
 .
1.3 "Linked Output" means any object code, library, or executable that
incorporates the Runtime, or parts of it, through the ordinary operation
of an assembler, linker, or compiler driver.
 .
1.4 "Toolchain" means a compiler, code generator, build system, or software
development product that produces or links programs, whether or not it is
built on the Mica compiler or the Mica Dragon SDK.
 .
 .
 2. LICENCE GRANT
 .
2.1 Mica Development UG grants You a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive
licence to download, install, and use the Runtime for any purpose,
     including commercial purposes.
 .
2.2 You may link the Runtime into Your software, and into software produced
by any Toolchain, for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
 .
2.3 You may redistribute unmodified copies of the Runtime as part of a
Toolchain You distribute, under any terms You choose for that Toolchain,
provided the Runtime's own copies remain governed by this Licence and
     this Licence travels with them.
 .
2.4 No fee, registration, licence key, or time limit applies. You may install
the Runtime on as many machines as You need.
 .
 .
 3. LINKED OUTPUT IS YOURS
 .
3.1 We claim no rights whatsoever in Linked Output.
 .
3.2 No term of this Licence attaches to Linked Output, its source code, or
its output. You and Your users may distribute, sell, and license Linked
Output on any terms You choose, and the recipients of Linked Output need
     no licence from us.
 .
3.3 Distributing Linked Output is not distribution of the Runtime, however
much of the Runtime's code the linker copied into it.
 .
 .
 4. RESTRICTIONS
 .
4.1 You may not distribute the Runtime other than as permitted by section
2.3. In particular, You may not sell, sublicense, rent, or lease the
Runtime as a product of its own. Direct people to https://mica-dev.com/
     instead.
 .
4.2 You may not modify or adapt the Runtime, and You may not decompile,
disassemble, or reverse engineer it, except to the extent applicable law
expressly permits despite this restriction. Linking under section 2.2 is
     not modification.
 .
4.3 You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or licence notice.
 .
 .
 5. NOT OPEN SOURCE
 .
The Runtime is commercial software. Its source code is not published, and this
Licence grants no access to it. This may change in the future; nothing here
 commits us either way.
 .
 .
 6. FUTURE VERSIONS
 .
6.1 We may release future versions of the Runtime under different licence
     terms.
 .
6.2 A change of terms applies only to versions released after the change. The
version You already hold remains licensed to You under the terms You
received it with, and we will not revoke that retroactively.
 .
 .
 7. OTHER MICA SOFTWARE
 .
This Licence covers the Dragon runtime archives only. The Mica compiler and
its standard library are licensed under the Mica Compiler License 1.0, and
the Mica Dragon SDK under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0; each is
governed by its own terms instead of these.
 .
 .
 8. SUPPORT AND SERVICE LEVELS
 .
This Licence includes no support, maintenance, or service commitment. Support
and service agreements are available separately: info@mica-dev.com.
 .
 .
 9. TRADEMARKS
 .
This Licence grants no right to use the names, logos, or trademarks of Mica
Development UG, other than to state accurately that a program or Toolchain
 links the Mica Dragon runtime.
 .
 .
 10. OWNERSHIP
 .
The Runtime is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted here are
 reserved by Mica Development UG.
 .
 .
 11. NO WARRANTY
 .
THE RUNTIME IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
 .
 .
 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
 .
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MICA DEVELOPMENT UG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE
RUNTIME OR ITS USE. Nothing in this Licence excludes liability that cannot be
excluded under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross
negligence, or under the German Product Liability Act.
 .
 .
 13. TERM
 .
This Licence applies for as long as You comply with it. If You breach section
 4, the rights granted here end and You must stop using and delete the Runtime;
rights already granted under section 3 for Linked Output distributed before
the breach survive, because Your users' programs are not hostage to Your
 compliance.
